Defended Claims

 

In the event that the claim is defended we will provide you with a Solicitor or Litigation Executive to deal with your claim at the prevailing rates.

 

Flat Fee

The Solicitor will charge you a specific fee for your case. A flat fee is usually offered if your case is relatively simple or routine. If the Solicitor cannot set a flat fee for litigation they will provide an estimate of the costs at each stage in advance.

Hourly Rate

The Solicitor will charge you for each hour (or portion thereof) that he or she works on your case. For example; if your Solicitor's fee is £150 per hour and he or she works ten hours, the cost will be £1,500. A breakdown of work undertaken will also be provided.
